We need volunteers for the dome setup. Volunteers are required on Wednesday, October 24 and Thursday, October 25. We realize these are on a work day but if you can join us please volunteer! As part of our arrangement with RMI (see our article from July) the TUC is required to provide basic volunteer man-power to help setup the dome. We are seeking volunteers for 4 shifts on Oct 24-25. TUC is seeking volunteers for Wednesday, October 24 and Thursday, October 25, from 8:00am – 4:00pm each day to assist with the Monarch Park Stadium Dome setup! Volunteers are required for either a 4-hour shift (8am – 12pm or 12pm – 4pm) or a 8-hour shift. No technical skills required, just basic labour of unrolling the dome walls and carrying some cables. Volunteers are required to dress appropriately for the weather and for general labour. There will be lunch provided (pizza and drinks) for those who volunteer for the full day (8 hour shift).
How to Volunteer
If you wish to volunteer simply email email@example.com and state your full name, the date(s), and the shift(s) you wish to volunteer for. Also if you are a touring player please include your touring team affiliation. You can volunteer for as many shifts as you want, but you MUST be present for the entire duration of whatever shift you sign-up for. You are expected to be present once you signup: if for any reason you can no longer attend after signing up please email firstname.lastname@example.org with ample notification. Note shifts are not flexible: it's 8am - 12pm or 12pm - 4pm.
You will receive a confirmation email a day or two prior to the event. Once you are confirmed you are expected to be there rain or shine, unless otherwise notified. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the start of your shift (so if your shift is at 8:00am, be there at 7:45am please!). Please do not be late! You will check-in at the parking lot adjacent to the field, at 1 Parkmount Ave. We may have a TUC tent on site that you can report to.

Note that touring teams can only carry-over 50 volunteer points to the next season. Points accumulated at this volunteer event are to cover any shortfall or to claim up to 50 points towards the 2013 season.
