'Spirit of the game' is a fundamental guiding concept of Ultimate. It's widespread practice has helped with the development of the sport as fun and fair competition for all levels of play. Toronto Ultimate places a strong emphasis on 'Spirit' in all of our leagues. During the Summer season our aim is to recognize and reward high spirited teams.

In 2012, the Summer Spirit program is sponsored by Steam Whistle Pilsner. Every fifth week of the season, teams that have been awarded perfect spirit for that period will be entered into a winners draw. One winner from each league night will be selected to win a 24-pack of Steam Whistle Pilsner (19+ only). As the Summer season rolls along, we have already had our first draw for weeks 1 - 5.
