The Monday-Tuesday Finals will be rescheduled to the weekend of Sept 15-16, with Monday teams participating on Saturday, September 15 and Tuesday teams participating on Sunday, September 16. All games will be at Sunnybrook Park. The schedule will be posted within a few days. Here are the important details you need to know:

• The Playoffs are only available to teams that already registered for the playoffs. If you did not register your team for the Sept 8-9 weekend, unfortunately you are not eligible to enter your team. But if teams need sub players we recommend you contact your fellow captains and/or post on the BBS
• If your team can no longer participate, the deadline to withdraw your team is this Wednesday, September 12, 5pm. There is no penalty to teams who withdraw, we understand that some teams may no longer be able to make it
• Playoff rosters have been re-opened for Monday & Tuesday Playoff teams, and will close on Wednesday at 11:59pm. Captains have until this time to make any necessary changes to their roster. A reminder that all teams must still adhere to the League & Playoff Participation Policy and Summer Playoff Subs Policy. There is no changing of players or adding players after the deadline!
• There will be a roster review period from Wednesday 11:59pm to Thursday at 5pm. Any roster objections should be emailed to gm@tuc.org
• There will be a revised field map posted this week. The field hockey fields will change on Saturday
• The Terry Fox run will not be an issue for Sept 16 and we will be able to access the park by car - last year's issue has been addressed.
• We are aware that there are potential conflicts with All-Star teams on Saturday and Fall League teams on Sunday. We are doing our best to avoid conflicts and only a few people may be impacted.

Playoffs will take place at Sunnybrook Park. Regular season standings determining their playoff seed. Intend on being at Sunnybrook for the full day. Captain's please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to your first game. Head over to TUC Disc Central and check your team in.

ROSTERS

All teams participating must must adhere to the League & Playoff Participation Policy and Summer Playoff Subs Policy. Note that only players who appear on the OFFICIAL POSTED ROSTERS are eligible to participate in playoffs. Roster additions cannot be accepted at this time or during team registration. We will be checking rosters throughout the day and will be enforcing the playoff sub policy so please ensure to stick with the rules. Bring copies of your schedule and the field map for your reference. A copy will also be available at Disc Central.

FORMAT, RULES AND SCORING

Captain's must ensure a game score and spirit score out of 5 is reported for all games. If no volunteer approaches you after your game please ensure a representative heads to disc central to provide the final score.
-Games are played to 15 with a half at 8 (hard cap at 17)
-Soft cap is at 75 minute mark (finish current point then add 1 to the higher score and play to this scoreline, unless you reach hard cap)
-Hard cap is at 85 minute mark (finish point and game ends unless it is tied, if tied play out universe point to decide winner)
-No Footblocks at all levels, unless agreed upon by both captains (captain's clause)
- 2 timeouts per game per team, no timeouts may be called after the Soft Cap mark

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

-We are still looking for volunteers for both days(interested email admin@tuc.org)
-Athletic Therapists and St. John's Ambulance will be on site
-Light breakfast snacks will be available on-site
-Pack snacks and a lunch and bring a water bottle!
-Summer playoffs will go ahead as scheduled rain or shine, pack accordingly
-Remember to bring a light and dark in case you match up against similar colours
-Our friends at VC will be on site offering great gear
-No metal cleats allowed under any circumstance
-There are two locations for portable toilets plus the pavilion
-Please ensure you pick up all garbage and recycling and deposit at one of many locations around the park

The game schedules for the playoffs will be posted on Thursday afternoon, September 7th. During the week leading up to the playoffs the following will take place:

Sunday, September 2nd: deadline to submit your playoff roster
Monday, September 3rd: roster review by TUC managers (invalid rosters will be removed)
Tuesday, September 4th: rosters posted at 12pm for captains review. From 12pm Sept 6 to 12:00pm Sept 7 captains can report any objections to sub players on opposing teams.
Wednesday, September 5th: deadline for objection is 12:00pm. TUC managers to address objections with captains and update rosters by Wednesday evening. 5pm is the deadline to withdraw your team from the playoffs.
Thursday, September 6th: finalization of rosters and schedule preparation. We will do our best to post the schedules as early as possible.

Playoffs Logistics

Registration

Registration for playoffs is completed online and closes at the end of the day on Sunday September 2nd (THIS SUNDAY). Registration is optional to summer teams and it’s free, but it must be completed by the same person that registered (and paid for) the summer league team. Registration will close on September 2nd (note that this is also the roster deadline). If you don’t register by September 2nd, your team will not be able to participate in playoffs.

Online Playoff Rosters

When you register your team for playoffs, a new playoff team will be created in the system, with you automatically added as captain. Just like your regular summer team, you will then ADD THE PLAYERS from your summer team who are participating in the playoffs. The system will allow you to review your 2012 summer team roster, and via tick-box add the valid players from this roster. So long as the players are eligible they will be automatically placed on the team (no invite that the player needs to respond to). Once you have completed adding your attending roster players to the playoffs roster, the system will then allow/disallow you to invite substitute players to your playoff roster based on the Summer Playoff Sub Policy rules. If at any point prior to September 4 you wish to add another valid regular player (that you did not include the first time) you can do so on the system, or vice versa (remove a player who can no longer attend).

The deadline for completing this online playoff roster is September 2nd and this includes all subs! You can edit your summer playoff roster prior to September 2nd, anytime after you register. If your playoff roster is not complete or is not properly submitted by September 2nd, your team is not eligible to participate in the playoffs.

So note that September 2nd is the last day to register your playoff team AND also the last day to submit your playoff roster. Don't wait until the last minute to register, get it done NOW!

Sub Participation Policy

Subs are allowed in playoffs as per the summer league sub policy. Up to two male and three female subs are allowed, but only to bring a team's total number of players up to a maximum of 8 males and 6 females. For example, a team with 3 rostered females participating can have up to 3 female subs at payoffs. However, a team with 5 rostered females participating at playoffs can only have 1 female sub (bringing their total to 6). A team with 6 or more rostered female players participating in playoffs is not allowed to have any female subs.

Rosters will be posted online, and players will have opportunities to review other team's subs (and declare any objections). If there are objections, captains will be notified and those players will not be allowed to participate on those teams.
