Driving Directions

The field is on the south side of Bloor St. at Devonshire Place. (between Avenue Rd. and Spadina Ave.) Access to the facility is via the south pavilion, not Bloor St. There is a laneway off of Devonshire Place that access the pavilion.

Parking Details

Parking in this area is limited. Some possibilities include:

• Green P lot on Bedford St. (1/2 block north of Bloor)
• under the OISE building at 252 Bloor St.
• under Innis College at 111 St. George St. (between Harbord and Bloor)

Street parking might also be found along Devonshire, Bedford, Hoskin or St. George during non-peak times.

Transit Directions

Take the Bloor/Danforth subway or University/Spadina subway to St. George station. Exit at Bedford Road and walk south across Bloor and down Devonshire Place. There is a laneway on Devonshire Place that accesses the pavilion/south entrance to the field.

Washrooms

Change rooms in the concourse – there are 2 change rooms (#3 & #4) located under the stands in the middle of the concourse, with washrooms and shower facilities. Please note these are general access areas and are not secure.

Special Instructions

Access the facility via the south pavilion. The Pavilion entrance is located off of Devonshire Place, down the laneway. Individuals will be required to enter the facility through the main doors, pass through turnstiles and then continue forward to the field/dome. Participants will need to know that they are playing with the Toronto Ultimate Club!

Indoor Rules:

The Varsity Centre staff prefer that you do not enter the dome more than 15 minutes prior to the start of your game.  When you enter the dome, please stay behind the netted seating area located by the entrance and stay behind the net until your game time begins and the staff permit you on to the field.  Please do not warm-up on the field or sidelines prior to your start time.  If you have any issues with the Varsity staff, please politely comply with their requests and contact TUC if you have any complaints.

 

OUTDOOR RULES: PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE FACILITY UNTIL 10 MINUTES BEFORE TUC RENTAL TIME AND PLEASE STAY OFF THE FIELD PRIOR TO YOUR FIELD TIME. ALSO PLEASE BE COMPLETELY OFF THE FIELD AT YOUR INDICATED FINISH TIME OUT OF RESPECT FOR THE NEXT GROUP. PLEASE EXIT THE FACILITY IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOUR GAME SO AS NOT TO BOTHER STAFF OR THE NEXT GROUP.

Please note that food of any kind, gum, or sugared drinks are not permitted on turf fields (to protect the field surface). Water only! Therefore no granola bars, sunflower seeds, gel packs, energy drinks, fruit, nuts, etc. on the field! Also, dogs and bikes are not permitted inside the Varsity Centre. Please leave the dogs at home and please lock up your bikes outside the venue.  If you violate these rules you are seriously jeopardizing TUC permits!!!  Teams and/or players found to be jeopardizing TUC permits are subject to sanctions and/or expulsion from the Club.  We ask all TUC membes to politely police the field if you see anyone violating these rules during TUC games.  Thank you!

Non-metal cleats are allowed on this field.
