Hello basketball and ultimate fans,
Team Canada is participating in a March Madness fundraiser to help the team on its quest to win the 2012 World Ultimate Championships in Japan this summer. This has been a four year journey which will culminate this summer in Japan. Be a part of this quest by placing your bets on the upcoming NCAA basketball tournament and help support Team Canada at Worlds!
1. Go to this website (http://lotusultimate.mayhem.cbssports.com/e).
2. Become a member of CBS sports - hit "register now" and fill out the form. You may already have an account if you participated last year.
3. Once you are done registering hit "Click here to continue".
3. Enter the password - teamcanada
4. Make your picks - brackets will be available on “Selection Sunday” - Sunday of March 11, 2012. You will have until noon on March 15 to pay and make picks. Tournament starts March 15.
5. Arrange with me a way to give me your registration fee $20.00 (again by March 15).
6. Cheer on your team!!
*The NCAA basketball tournament starts with 64 teams and it is single elimination (if a team loses they are out). In this pool you will pick the winners of each game all the way to the finals. Along the way you get points for each game you call correctly. The first round is one point per correct game, second round is more points and so on (points are on the "rules" section of the website below). The final standing of our participants will dictate how the money will be allocated;
Team Canada - 50%
1st place - 30%
2nd place - 15%
3rd place - 5%
We really appreciate your support. If you want to check out more information regarding Team Canada and our quest for gold feel free to follow the team on twitter (@TCWUltimate) or tournament website - http://wugc2012.org/english/
Feel free to pass this along to others.
Thanks for your support! |
