Hey Lloyd,

As im sure youre already aware the Connecticut constitution announced today that they along with Rhode island will be ceasing operarion this year due to a lawsuit filed by the AUDL over a territorial dispute. (CT and RI claim Boston and NYC expansions fall within their 100mi territory) how does this affect the Toronto Rush? If anything but a trust issue between the league and ownership.

Hey guys,

The ownership of the Toronto Rush would like to thank everyone for helping with our surveys. We would also like to thank everyone for the warm reception so far.

All the best,

Mark Lloyd

Hey Kuku,

So there is a chance that this will affect most of the club teams in the area, if their players try out.

GOAT will be the least effected because the fall season starts around mid august (worlds qualifying years the exception)

The ownership are willing to work with players to try and make it so an AUDL season and Club season can co-exist. As to how we will do that, I honestly cannot say.

But i definitely see your concern.

Mark

Also, how would a Toronto franchise affect the Ontario club scene as a whole? With the AUDL season not ending until late July/early August would we see teams like GOAT, GT, Union, Maverick and Phoenix have top players leave to play in the AUDL? How much would this hurt us at CUC as a region?

I was always curious who was going to buy the Toronto Francise. Is the ownership a GOAT consortium? I personally believe a AUDL francise is Toronto should do quite well. Good luck on the venture.

Thank you for everyone who responded in the survey. We are going to analyze the results and come back with a second round. Strictly name this time. We had some great write-in suggestions and those will be reflected in the second round.

Thanks!
