does the new toe nail look as good and healthy as the old one?

I'm gonna go with this one. Then you don't have to deal with toenails ever again!

I only ever lost one, and by the time it was about ready to fall off, the new one had pretty much grown in underneath. Didn't look like it had, but it was there...

Sorry, I have no pictures of this to contribute. pale

Just leave it on. You dont have to tape it, but if it feels better then do it.

i have been "playing" around with my loose toe nail for about a month and hasnt ripped it off it. It looks better and feels better.

Phew .... I thought you were going to say burn it with fire. Cutting it off seems so easy and painless.

In all seriousness, doesn't getting a cleat on a toe without a nail hurt more?

I know it seems trivial and stupid but I am in the middle of losing a toe nail, and am not sure if I should just pull it or do I keep taping it for another 6 weeks. Nails protect your toe a little when getting stepped on, but is it worth the hassle? Do I pull it or leave it? Do I keep taping it down past when it is ready to fall off?
