With the chillier days and earlier sunsets upon us, it is a true indication that the TUC Fall outdoor season is beginning to come to a close. Starting on Thanksgiving Monday October the 8th the first of the fall outdoor season came to an end as the regular season #4 seed, Mega Gooch and The Swaggers, took on the #2 seed, The Flying Deuces, in the Monday Recreational Fall Outdoor league finals at Lamport Stadium. In what turned out to be a beautifully mild night saw Mega Gooch convincingly beat the Deuces for the recreational championships. A big congrats goes out to Mega Gooch and The Swaggers for their fine victory.
In the Thursday Competitive league at Downsview Park. The championship game took place on Thursday October 25th and saw the surprising #4 seed Quick & Dirty take on the # 2 seed Keep calm and Gangnam Style. The Gangnam Style took an early lead and never let go as they easily went on to win 18-12.
The Wednesday Intermediate league will held its championship game on Wednesday October 31st at the LCI Sports Field. The finals featured the top two teams (both with a 6-1 record) from the regular season, Turn-her and Hooch versus Huck Norris. In the last week of the season Huck Norris defeated Turn-her and Hooch to take over take the number 1 seed that the Hooches had been holding all season long. In what was another closely fought finals Turn-her and Hooch over came their defeat from the regular season to win the match 11-9 to take home the championship. Congrats to all teams on their victorious fall seasons. Now on to indoor leagues.
The fall indoor season will be starting next week at Monarch Park, the week after at Lamport Stadium and the week after that at Upper Canada College.
