It’s that time of year again to sign up for another outstanding year of Ultimate with TUC! Individual membership and Spring League registration opens this Monday, March 20. Summer Team registration begins Monday, March 28.

Your 2006 TUC membership is vaild from April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2007. This one-time membership fee is your ticket to all-season Ultimate, Spring through Winter Leagues. Team fees apply for Summer, Fall and Winter Leagues. Spring and Winter Leagues offer individual registration.
TUC Membership privileges include:
- Free TUC events - skills & theory clinics, parties, hat tournaments, Midseason tournament;
- Free LAYOUT - the TUC e-newsletter delivering important updates and latest news directly to your in-box;

Spring League 2006 – Women’s League starts April 10. Men’s League starts April 12
Spring League is a great opportunity for new players to learn the game, and for experienced players to rev up their skills for the summer. Join us this Spring for great Ultimate on the beach!
Spring League is played on the beach of Ashbridges Bay. Games commence at 6 p.m. sharp to maximize daylight hours. Players register as individuals and the number of teams is dependent on final registration numbers. Spring League games are played on Mondays for Women and Wednesdays for Men. The final league games are scheduled for May 8 and 10.

New TUC Chair of the Board for 2006
TUC is thrilled to announce that Derek Baxter, Chairman of the Board, has accepted a marketing position with the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games Committee. Way to go Derek! We are sad to see Derek leave in a few short weeks for his new home in B.C., and wish him the best for his new endeavour. TUC thanks Derek for the outstanding contribution and invaluable leadership he has provided.
We are pleased to announce that Alison Fletcher will assume the Chairman of the Board role for the remainder of 2006. Alison brings a wealth of experience having served TUC on the Board, Executive, various committees and through elite teams and junior programmes. TUC is very excited to welcome Alison to her new position and looks forward to the road ahead!

Catch the Spirit Youth Initiative a Big Success
TUC's 2006 Junior Program kicked off on March 1 & 2 with the second installment of “Catch the Spirit” Ultimate Festival. More than 20 schools were represented and over 250 students participated, all showing commendable skill and exceptional spirit. Congratulations to all participants.

- Division A. Thursday, March 2: Spirit Winners - Markville Secondary, Tournament Champions: Sacred Heart Catholic High School
- Division B. Wednesday, March 1: Spirit Winners - William Lyon Mackenzie Collegiate, Tournament Champions: Jarvis Collegiate

Winter Indoor March Madness
The Winter Indoor season is blazing a trail at the Downsview Hangar, showing soccer moms why Ultimate is becoming so popular in schools. The excitement continues as all three leagues near the conclusion of Pool play and begin Playoffs in just a few weeks.
Thursday A Co-Ed Division has been reshuffled for the playoff push, with early winners Goatsbusters and Goats Head Soup playing the role of favourites. Tuesdays Indoor Co-Ed features a log jam of talented teams as The Wonders, Mélange a Trois, Hat 2 and 23rd Hour of Power are all within striking distance of the coveted championship. Monday Men’s League begin playoffs on March 27 where the top teams in Tier 1 receive byes yet others play double headers in true March Madness fashion. Will BMCB or Mandrew prevail as the champions or is there a Cinderella team waiting in the wings to knock them off? Be sure to check our schedules and standings for all the latest scores and information.
