In conjunction with Mayor David Miller’s community makeover program and Earth Day, TUC does its part to help keep our City clean. Each spring we visit a local City park and clean it up, giving back to the community and fostering a clean fields philosophy for our players. In previous years we have visited Flemingdon Park, Cedarvale Park, Rosehill Reservoir, and Riverdale Park. In 2010 we will return to Rosehill Reservoir. We are looking for volunteers to join us from 11am-12:30pm at Rosehill Resevoir/David Balfour Park (meet in NW corner) on April 24. Visit the TUC Field List for directions. Volunteers will receive point credits towards the TUC Shop or their touring teams, plus you are helping a great cause. If you would like to sign-up and volunteer please email volunteers@tuc.org
