The Midseason Classic is a great opportunity to play teams from different nights and truly find out who is the best in all of the Summer Leagues. It is also a good chance to register your Summer League team to get in some tournament experience together. This marks the rough halfway point for the leagues and it will be great preperation for the Summer Playoffs.

On Saturday November 26 TUC hosted its annual Volunteer Appreciation Tournament at Monarch Park Stadium. The event was free for all TUC players who volunteered in 2012 and over 80 people attended! Congrats to team RUSH who won the title with a close win over the Rock.

TUC's Summer HAT event, the August HAT Tournament took place on Saturday, August 11th at Varsity Stadium from 12pm-6pm. August HAT is played in the heart of Toronto on the new state of the art turf fields of the Varsity Centre. Over 80 Ultimate players, both TUC members and non-members of all skill levels came out for this great afternoon tournament. Read on for further details!

TUC's Spring 4-on-4 Tournament was held on Saturday April 14th at Lamport Stadium. A new tournament format for TUC was introduced at this event which was 4-on-4 style game play. Eleven competitive and intermediate teams showed up to test out this different style of ultimate played in tight quarters, instead of the standard TUC league indoor field. After three solid hours and all teams playing four games, it was Tony and Carmel edging out TBD in the finals. In the third place game PONY 2012 defeated Low Expectations. TUC's Spring Tournament will be held on Saturday April 14th and will run from 4pm to 7pm indoors at Lamport Stadium. TUC is excited to announce the format of this tournament will be changing to 4 on 4 for the coming year with a suggested skill level being intermediate/competitive/elite.
