Ontario 4v4 u19 Tryout - Sun Jan 14 - 4pm - 4:55pm @ Monarch Park

This sessions is intended primarly as a tryout u19 athletes interested in being selected for and competing at the Ontario 4v4 junior championships, being held in Burlington on Sat, Feb 17th. This event is free to the first 20 open and 20 female-matching athletes. There are plans for a second session on Sun Jan 24th at the same time - details around that will be released after the first tryout.
Eligibility:
We also encourage athletes to sign up for the TUC Sunday 4pm u19 league starting January 28th, but this is not required.

Team Selection & Information:

- Players must be no younger than 14 years of age and no older than 18 years of age on December 31, 2024.
We also encourage athletes to sign up for the TUC Sunday 4pm u19 league starting January 28th, but this is not required.
Tournaments:
Toronto Junior Tournament - Jan 20th at Lamport Stadium (TBC - at this moment we are not planning to play in this tournament)
Provincials: Burlington, ON on Saturday Feb 17th (One day tournament).
National (if a bid is earned): Châteauguay, QC. April 13-14, 2024.
Team Selection & Information:
- TUC is currently commited to registering 1 team for provincials, but we may add a second if there is interest.
- This is a mixed tournament, with a 2:2 Ratio of Open and Female Matching players (2O:2FM) on the field at all times
We estimate a total player cost of $100 up to Regionals, which includes these 2 1hr sessions, and the team fees for regionals itself. We won't buy jerseys for regionals.
Players will also be required to purchase a UC membership ($45), which they will likely require for any summer UC events anyways, as well as a $15 Ontario Competitive Player Fee.
If the team qualifies for Nationals, and opts to attend, the additional fee will be expected to be $300 - $400, including jerseys, the tournament fee, extra practices, and coach subsidies.

Accommodations:
As the provincial event is in the GTA, we won't plan on utilizing a hotel.
