After the fantastic weekend we had in May, Clevelands House have invited us back to end our Summer over the Labour Day long weekend with another Lake Rosseau tournament! We are thrilled to be back and hope to grow the tournament bigger and better than the original and amazing first weekend. Learn how to play Ultimate Frisbee, the world's fastest growing sport. TUC has a 5 Week Clinic Series for the those newer players to the game. There will be 2 separate levels of Clinic Series, a Beginner/Recreational level and an Intermediate level. Expert instruction will be provided from members of local touring teams to help with improving on your skills, basic team concepts, zones (offence & defense), strategies, rules and much more. Each week will provide a clinic on a specific topic for the first hour, which will then be followed by a scrimmage to practice those concepts.
The 5 week Clinic Series (2nd session) will run on Monday evenings for 5 weeks from 6:45 PM to dusk at Sir Winston Churchill Park (St. Clair & Spadina), starting July 21. For more details (cost, outline, etc) read further.

The 2014 Art Hawkins Great Canadian Ultimate Game is aimed to connect communities in Canada through a 24+ hour Ultimate game. This Canada-wide event will be raising money for the Art Hawkins Ultimate Fund. Come and join the Toronto leg of the charity game this Saturday, 2pm at Monarch Park.

The Toronto Ultimate Club, along with Union Ultimate, will be hosting two preseason skills clinic for all levels at Monarch Park Stadium on Sunday May 11th and 25th, 2014 from 1:00 PM to 3:15 PM. Players of all ages and skill levels, from the beginner who has never thrown a disc before to the battle hardened veteran, are invited to come out to this unique event. Come learn the game and improve your skills while being taught by the best Ultimate players in the city (possibly the world), as members of the 2013 Canadian Ultimate Mixed Division Champions, Union, and the 2013 AUDL Champions, Toronto Rush will be providing instructions on how to become a world class ultimate player.
Sign up for one clinic or for both. Cost per clinic will be $35 for TUC Members ($65 for both clinics) or $40 for NON-Members.

TUC along with the 2013 Canadian Ultimate Mixed Division Champions - Union, will be hosting 2 Indoor clinics of various levels in February at Monarch Park Stadium on Sunday February 9th and February 16th. These sessions will be for Beginners on the 9th and Recreational/Intermediate on the 16th. These sessions are ideal for players of all skill levels, especially those newer to the game.
Registration is now open, sign-up online for 1 clinic or sign-up for both of them.
These clinics will be taught by expert instructors from the 2013 Canadian Ultimate Mixed Division Championship team, Union, who will run you through drills, skills and even include some ‘game’ action. These clinics are co-ed and open to all levels of players - from newbies to those players who just want to work on their skills.

Friday night saw Whistler's Grille full of ultimate players as we all gathered to celebrate the summer season, watch some highlights from 2013, hand out some awards, meet some stars and indulge in some fine dining.
The night kicked off with a couple of slideshows prepared by Ed Kung. CLICK HERE to see Ed's Slideshows.
These got eveyone's attention and welcomed them into the room and the bar. The players could also come in and meet our partners and special guests from the Toronto Rush; Mark Lloyd, Thompson McKnight, Scott Hastie (Assistant Coach) and Mark Brubacher (Sales and Marketing Coordinator). With them the Rush brought along the AUDLII championship trophy to create some amazing photo opportunities.
Shortly after, dinner was served, Mark Lloyd delivered a presentation on the Toronto Rush and the TUC award winners were announced.

The 2013 Summer End Party is going to be our biggest social event for the year, where we can all get together, feast, drink, present some awards, see highlights of the year and party on!
So join us and your team mates to close out the summer season and help us celebrate all the ultimate glory we shared in the sun.
Must be 19 years of age or older.
Online ticket registration is now closed. If you still wish to purchase a ticket you can contact the TUC office directly (647.345.8105). We will be accepting walk-ups if you decide to come last minute. But there is no discounted ticket for those arriving late.

The Midseason Classic is a great opportunity to play teams from different nights and truly find out who is the best in all of the Summer Leagues. It is also a good chance to register your Summer League team to get in some tournament experience together. This marks the rough halfway point for the leagues and it will be great preperation for the Summer Playoffs.
